Dr. Ahmed Kelani participates in the 29th Conference of the Arab Union of Manufacturers of Pharmaceuticals and Medical Appliances in Amman – Jordan.

Dr. Ahmed Kelani, Chairman of the Board and Managing Director:
"We are ready immediately for cooperation with pharmaceutical manufacturers in the Arab world to manufacture Biosimilars & Biologicals at our EIPICO 3 factory."
"The Arab Company for Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (Arab API) will contribute to supporting pharmaceutical security in Egypt, and is capable of being the pillar of Arab pharmaceutical security."
These remarks were made during his participation in the 29th Conference of the Arab Union of Manufacturers of Pharmaceuticals and Medical Appliances, held under the theme "Modern Trends in Pharmaceutical Industries," which commenced on July 1, 2026, in Amman, Jordan.
During the conference activities, Dr. Kelani participated in a panel discussion focused on developing the pharmaceutical industry in the Arab world and localizing the manufacturing of biological products. He also delivered a lecture on the success of the Egyptian experience in localizing the Biologics and Biosimilars industry, highlighting how the dream of establishing the EIPICO 3 has turned into a reality. The facility has already commenced production of its first biological products, making it the first plant in Egypt and the Middle East to fully manufacture these biological preparations, spanning the entire process from the genetically modified cell line to the final product.
On the sidelines of the conference, Dr. Kelani met with numerous leaders of the Arab pharmaceutical industry, as well as pharmacy professors from several Arab universities, to discuss avenues for joint cooperation.
Additionally, he met with a number of EIPICO’s agents from Jordan and Iraq.
In recognition of his fruitful efforts and extensive contributions to developing the pharmaceutical industry in Egypt and the Arab world, the leadership of the Arab Union of Manufacturers of Pharmaceuticals and Medical Appliances honored Dr. Ahmed Kelani during the event.
