► Egypt 2030 with No Virus-C
By Collaboration with the EGYPTIAN Ministry of health for achieving 2030 vision of EGYPT with No more virus-c, EIPICO had the initiative to take a part in curing more than 15,000 virus -c patient by EIPICO own Anti-viral product Episovir®. To lower the governmental healthcare expenditure, Episovir® was delivered to Egyptian public hospitals fully free.
► EIPICO fights Covid-19
EIPICO donated thousands of its pharmaceutical products for the management of covid-19 patients.
► Medical Convoys
Over 37 years of dedication EIPICO shared with all Egyptian medical universities and public hospitals in sending medical convoys to rural and low-income areas in Egypt and neighboring Arab countries like Palestine. EIPICO provides medical supplies for the convoys with its wide range of more than 300 pharmaceutical products for treatment of both Acute and Chronic diseases.
► Blood Donation Campaigns
EIPICO highly appreciates the heartful feeling of its employees, who are keen to express it in many practical ways, perhaps the most important of which is their increasing participation in donating blood campaigns which organized by the Ministry of Health and Population in Egypt in cooperation with EIPICO.
As the firm of EIPICO’s social responsibilities, it provides all the needed facilities for these campaigns.

► Students training and empowerment
EIPICO provides a series of courses and workshops designed to equip university pharmacy and engineering students with the skills necessary to be competitive on the job market.
► Technical education schools.
For the leverage of technical professions’ capabilities, EIPICO developed educational Training programs for the holders of technical Diplomats and students to be qualified enough for the challenges of working environment. EIPICO is training many students in technical education schools.
HCP Learning & Development programs
EIPICO supports health care practitioners worldwide with two forums under the name of EPIC “EIPICO PHARMACISTS INTENSIVE CARE UNIT”, And E-CPD “EIPICO CONTINOUS PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT”. The programs that provide training for health care professionals starting from paramedicals reaching physicians and pharmacists to enrich them with the latest Clinical practices and guidelines accredited by international organizations for CME (continuous Medical education).
Scientific Research Responsibility
EIPICO Supports Scientists and research centers with the needed raw materials required to complete Field researches .
EIPICO Builds EGYPT Infrastructure
EIPICO supported Sinai Infrastructure building with 10,000,000 EGP. In Addition to more 55,000,000 EGP for Tahya Misr to fund the National development Projects .
EIPICO Eco-Friendly Responsibility
EIPICO takes many measures to preserve the environment from any harmful pollutants by : -
- Reducing air pollutants resulting from boilers and forklifts
all emissions are within the permissible limits according to the latest measurements made by the National Center for Occupational Safety and Health Studies and securing the work environment
- Liquid waste disposal through Industrial drainage
There is an integrated treatment plant for the industrial wastewater of the company, with a design capacity of about 500 m3 / day, to treat the industrial wastewater produced by the EPICO (I) and EPICO (II) plants.
- Solid hazardous waste
Hazardous wastes Resulting from Loose filter powder, complete product that does not meet the specifications as well as Raw materials not conforming to specifications are Handled as follow first the removal of the primary packing materials that are in direct contact with the raw materials then the Hazardous waste is collected and identified in red bags at the waste collection sites in the production departments and transported on pallet to be chopped inside the mincer before being re-packed into red bags to be identified in preparation for the disposal center after this long procedure Those hazardous waste is transported by the designated vehicle (licensed by the Ministry of Health) to the approved disposal company while hazardous liquids, are collected directly in Special sealed drums to be transported by the same waste vehicle to the hazardous waste disposal center.

They are collected and categorized within the productive departments then transferred to a main collecting point; An approved contractor transfers non-hazardous daily wastes outside the company to be disposed by common waste disposing methods like undertaking,safelandfilling and many other methods.
