Dr. Ahmed Kelani signs contract of Arab API land allocating

In a practical response to the directives of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, towards deepening the pharmaceutical industry and penetrating the field of production of pharmaceutical active raw materials in Egypt, Professor Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Deputy Prime Minister for Human Development, Minister of Health and Population, witnessed the signing of the contract for allocating the land of the Arab Company for Pharmaceutical Raw Materials (Arab API) factory, in the presence of Major General Dr. Bahaa El-Din Zidan, Head of the Unified Procurement Authority, Dr. Ali El-Ghamrawy, Head of the Egyptian Drug Authority, Eng. Walid Gamal El-Din, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Authority of the Suez Canal Economic Zone, and Dr. Olfat Gharab, Chairman of ACDIMA Company. The contract was signed by: Dr. Ahmed Kelani, Chairman and Managing Director of EIPICO, in his capacity as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Arab API, Mr. Ahmed Saad, Executive Director of the Suez Canal Economic Zone, and Dr. Mohamed Abdel Gawad Allam, Vice Chairman of the General Authority of the Suez Canal Economic Zone for Promotion and Investment Affairs. The signing was also attended by Mr. Mustafa Hamed, Member of the Board of Directors of Arab ABI
The land area is about 96 thousand square meters, and it is located in the Ain Sokhna Economic Zone It is worth mentioning that the Arab API Company is contributed by ACDIMA Company with a share of 60%, EIPICO Pharmaceuticals Company with a share of 30%, and the Economic Zone Investment Company, affiliated with the General Authority for the Suez Canal Economic Zone with a share of 10%
The project investments amount to about 120 million USD, and it will be the first multi-purpose factory in Egypt and the Middle East to produce active pharmaceutical raw materials...
