EIPICO is the first company in Egypt to host two technical classrooms in Pharma Indus.

EIPICO is reaffirming again, being a milestone in developing the pharmaceutical industry in Egypt.
Dr. Ahmed Kelani, Chairman and Managing Director of EIPICO Pharmaceuticals, stated, "We are very keen on preparing highly trained technical personnel in the pharmaceutical industry, and ready for the job market once graduated. It comes within our commitment towards supporting the pharmaceutical industry in Egypt and our dedication to the company's social responsibility, which we are keen to fulfill as a paramount national duty."
In this regard, and in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, represented by the General Directorate of Technical Education, the company's factories in the 10th of Ramadan City is the first pharmaceutical company to host two classrooms with a total capacity of 68 students.
The students will spend four days a week at the company's factories for practical training and the other two days for theoretical learning at Sultan Ewais School.

This program is operating with collaboration and supervision of international organizations represented by the German-Arab Chamber of Industry and Commerce in Cairo.
Dr. Ahmed Kelani added that this comes in addition to the existing cooperation with the El Sewedy Academy to prepare specialized technical personnel in the pharmaceutical industry.
EIPICO’s factories host students of Elsewedy academy for practical training and scientific learning at the company. The cooperation with the El Sewedy Academy began in 2021 with 16 students, and two classes have graduated. Currently, we are hosting 45 students at the company's factories.
Dr. Kelani added, also, simultaneously we support and enhance cooperation with universities and faculties of pharmacy throughout Egypt, to enrich students' theoretical knowledge with the practical expertise of the industry and to contribute to graduating highly qualified pharmacists and engineers ready to engage the industry as of day one of their graduation.
The cooperation between EIPICO and the Egyptian universities and colleges is manifested in several fields such as training of students of German International University (GIU), where specific training programs are set for students of the Faculties of Pharmaceutical Engineering and Biotechnology. These programs last for five consecutive months, equivalent to a full semester at the company.
Launched on March 1, 2024, with 11 students reached this year to 24 students.
The company's factories and laboratories also welcome students during the summer break for training in production and quality. Three hundred students from various universities across Egypt (public, private, and national) have been trained. Additionally, 495 students were trained this year in marketing at the company's branches located in several governorates throughout the country.
Dr. Ahmed Kelani emphasized that EIPICO is dedicating all its resources to cooperating with the Egyptian Drug Authority (EDA) in accommodating and training pharmacy interns (a program that began on December 29, 2024). Given the company's extensive capabilities, EIPICO hosted 326 students last academic year under the supervision of the EDA. Of these, 184 students trained in production and quality control at the company's factories, while 144 students received training in marketing at the company's branches throughout Egypt.
In addition, the company's factories annually host approximately 400 students from all pharmacy faculties across Egypt for one-day training visits.
EIPICO also honored to organize and participate in scientific conferences and training workshops for students at many universities and faculties, transferring its extensive experience.
Dr. Kelani concluded by stating that EIPICO supports researchers and postgraduate students at universities (governmental, private, and national) and research centers in Egypt by providing scientific consultations and free samples of pharmaceutical raw materials, to assist them in conducting their scientific experiments necessary to complete their master's and doctoral degree research, all of which aim to develop the pharmaceutical industry and improve pharmaceutical products to achieve the highest efficiency for citizens.
